Elopements are becoming much more common these days and for various reasons. In my opinion, elopements are very much the same as any customary wedding. They are equally beautiful and special! Follow along and read all of the details on this beautiful Lafayette Hotel wedding.
This elopement was romantic with both modern and rustic vibes in styling. Madison’s long sleeve lace gown was perfect and complemented Josh’s classic suit well. The florals were gorgeous and definitely added to the overall esthetics, of course!
Madison and Josh were absolutely perfect during their bride and groom portraits. This day was incredibly cold and so I’d be lying if I said we didn’t suffer just a bit being out in the frigid temperatures. I must say, these two did fantastic! They were so natural and managed to smile and laugh away despite being just a bit frozen! I think at one point, Josh was hysterically laughing because of how freaking cold it was. We had to run into the building a number of times to warm up but it was fun! A few days later the temps hit the 50’s, so naturally we were texting back and forth about it saying: “we have the worst luck lol”.
I captured some beautiful photos of Madison and Josh in front of the iconic, historic Lafayette Hotel, established in 1904. This is one of my favorite buildings in Buffalo because it’s simply stunning with its French Renaissance style. Lafayette is also a very popular Buffalo wedding venues. We ventured to a rooftop parking lot for additional photos in a different location to switch things up.
Time to talk vendors! First of all, Madison’s gorgeous bouquet and Josh’s boutonniere was created by William’s Florist & Gift House located in West Seneca, NY. This floral shop has expertise in custom floral designs and they did a wonderful job choosing colors and florals! Madison’s up-do was perfectly styled by Katie Vera at the trendy Elle Salon, a salon in the heart of Hamburg, NY. Katie specializes in special occasion updos and she did not disappoint at all!
And there you have it, a beautiful Lafayette Hotel wedding.
